Volunteer Placement Service

pic_failteIf you have looked around our site and have decided that you would like to volunteer you can start by registering online

You can then choose which volunteering opportunities you would like to apply for from our database.  We put you in touch with the organisation that you would like to volunteer with and keep in touch with you by email or phone to ensure that you have heard from the organisations and are happy with your choices.  The decision for a volunteer to become involved with an organisation remains entirely with the volunteer.

If you are not sure which opportunities are most suitable we will contact you to discuss how we can help.  We can offer assistance by phone or email, or you are welcome to make an appointment to visit us at the centre where we can talk about the options available. We will then put you in touch with the organisations of your choice.

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Volunteer Centre is committed to a policy of equality of opportunity.  We recognise that within our society certain individuals and groups of people are unfairly discriminated against, because of age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, mental or physical disability, race, creed, colour, nationality, political, economic status or criminal record. Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Volunteer Centre strives to eliminate all such forms of discrimination thus ensuring that all people are treated with dignity and respect in the workplace and beyond.
